The Commissioner for Victoria in Bangalore represents Victoria in India and South Asia more generally.

High priorities

High priorities for this Office include promotion of trade and investment in the information and communication technology sector, tourism and associated direct air access, as well as the promotion of the international education services sector.

Other priorities

Other priorities include promoting Victoria’s capabilities in infrastructure and construction, aviation and commercial aerospace, food (in particular dairy), sports and events and life sciences sectors.

In addition the Office, through the employment of a specialist skilled migration consultant, will assist Victorian businesses and industries attract the talented and highly skilled workers they need to move towards an increasingly innovation-based knowledge economy, where skills cannot be met locally.
