Introduction
The Agent-General in London represents Victoria in the United Kingdom and in conjunction with the Commissioner for Victoria in Frankfurt, in Europe more generally.
High priorities
High priorities for this Office include promoting Victorian defence and aerospace industry capabilities as well as trade and investment opportunities in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors.
Other priorities
Other priorities include promoting Victorian capability in sport and major event management (particularly relating to London Olympics 2012 and Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014), information and communication technology, financial and carbon market services and the wine sector.
In addition, the Office, through the employment of a specialist skilled migration consultant will assist Victorian businesses and industries attract the talented and highly skilled workers they need to move towards an increasingly innovation-based knowledge economy, where skills cannot be met locally.
