Defence and Aerospace Industry
Defence and Aerospace Industry is a dedicated business unit whose role is to provide direct assistance to defence and aerospace businesses, a gateway to other areas of the Victorian Government including manufacturing, science and technology, small business, education and training, investment facilitation and export.
Defence and Aerospace Industry coordinates projects between the Victorian Government and industry, and undertakes advocacy on behalf of the Victorian industry to defence and aerospace customers.
The Defence Council Victoria (Chaired by Mr Ric Smith, AO) provides the Government with advice and guidance on strategies and initiatives to develop and sustain unique capabilities within Victoria’s defence industry.
