Roles of the Victorian Small Business Commissioner
Under the Small Business Commissioner Act 2003, the role of the office of the Victorian Small Business Commissioner (VSBC) is to enhance a competitive and fair operating environment for small business in Victoria. Consistent with this role, the VSBC will play a significant role in ensuring observance with the new fair payments provisions.
The VSBC will continue to promote the policy and provide assistance to small businesses adversely affected by non-compliance.
